Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip

SHARE

We’re big on buffalo sauce here at The Nutrition Insider! This healthy buffalo chicken dip is a classic make-ahead dip for the Super Bowl (which happens to be right around the corner) but you certainly don’t need to be a sports fan to try this recipe.

The chicken in this low-calorie buffalo chicken dip can be prepared any way you would normally prepare your chicken: roasted, slow-cooked, or boiled all work fine here.

This recipe can be scaled up to suit your crowd but we’re pretty confident that you won’t have leftovers no matter how much you make.

We use Primal Kitchen for our buffalo sauce needs and though we do highly recommend it, use whichever fits your taste.

Happy snacking!

Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip

Healthy Buffalo Chicken Dip

Buffalo chicken dip is a savory and creamy dip that can be paired with veggies, chips, or crackers. Ingredients are combined, placed in an oven-safe baking dish, topped with cheese (yum) and ready to serve. We consider our dip “healthy” because we use greek yogurt and cottage cheese for bonus protein instead of classic cream cheese typically used in this dip recipe.

Notes

You can cook the chicken in a slow cooker, instant pot, you can boil it or use a rotisserie chicken (that’s what we used).
Leftovers (if any) can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
To reheat, microwave for 1-2 minutes or until the cheese melts.
