Cotton candy grapes are all the rage when summer rolls around… and for good reason! They taste like the real deal. While we’re not here to try to unpack how farmers get a fruit to taste like candy, we are here to capitalize on it.
Remember cotton candy ice cream? It came in colors so vibrant and bright that the ingredients (in retrospect) are questionable. Our cotton candy sorbet, however, is made from just 3 ingredients, all of which we’re sure you’ve heard of before.
If nostalgia with a healthy spin is your thing, you are going to love this recipe. It’s sweet, cool, and refreshing and could totally be eaten out of a cone if you want to feel like a kid again.
Cotton candy grapes are so delicious on their own. If you haven’t tried one, you’ll see why it lends so well to a dessert recipe once you take your first bite. We froze washed cotton candy grapes and blended them up with a little lime and maple for a balanced sweet and tart sorbet.
This recipe can be thrown together in the time it takes to press “start” on a blender, so long as you remember to freeze your grapes in advance. Who doesn’t love a ready-in-5 sweet treat?
