Overview
Dr. Scott Markham specializes in the disease and surgery of the eye. He earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with honors from Arizona State University in 1997 and received his osteopathic medical degree from Midwestern University in 2002. Following medical school, he completed two years of general surgery residency at the University of New Mexico, followed by three years of ophthalmology residency at Michigan State University, where he also served as chief resident.
His surgical interests include advanced refractive cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, and eyelid surgery. He has completed over 13,000 cataract surgeries throughout his career.
