Healthy Guacamole

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe avocados
  • 2 limes , zest and juice
  • ½ bunch of cilantro, finely chopped
  • ½ of a red onion, finely diced
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste

Optional:

  • 1 roma tomato, finely diced
  • ½ jalapeno, finely diced

Instructions
 

  • Open the avocados and remove the flesh into a bowl. Save one pit for storing.
  • Mash the avocado with the back of a fork or a spoon.
  • Add lime juice and zest and mix.
  • Add in cilantro, red onion, spices and mix.
  • Store along with one pit and tightly seal with plastic cling wrap for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
  • Serve with veggies and crackers or scoop on top of your favorite protein.
