Walnut Butter
This homemade walnut butter has a different depth of flavor than peanut and almond. It pairs well with jelly on toast, yogurt, or with a spoon.

- 2 cups walnuts
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tbsp Maple Syrup (optional)
- Dash of cinnamon (optional)
Preheat oven to 350 F.
Pour 2 cups of walnuts on a baking sheet and roast for 10 minutes.
Once cooled, place in high-powered blender with a dash of salt and blend until smooth (this can take about 5 minutes).
Optional: Add cinnamon, maple, or whichever other add-ins sound good to you (pumpkin spice would work great here)!
